This episode we start setting up base for our big mob trap project. I setup a water break, explain the game plan a bit, and get off to a good start on the project.
Synopsis
The episode starts off with Etho introducing the viewers to the 8th episode. Etho says he has run out of wood, and needs to go to the tree farm to mine some more wood. However, it's night, and he has to kill off some creepers trying to attack him, blowing one up in the process. He scans the area around the tree farm, and starts chopping wood.
The video cuts to Etho playing peek-a-boo with a creeper in the hole from earlier, which he ends up killing. The video cuts again, showing a lot of items on the ground, implying he died. He collects his items, and a creeper blows up on one of the tree pads. He mines another tree and plants the saplings. He says he'll need to expand the tree farm at some point. Etho wanders over to the new mob trap area, killing a creeper along the way. He says he needs to drop some stuff off, before cutting to the mob trap hole dug from the last episode.
Etho sets up a mini base in the mob trap hole. He builds and places a chest, a furnace, and an infinite water supply, then puts some water down so he can fall down the shaft quickly and safely. He makes some more ladders to climb up the rest of the way. He tests out the water to make sure he doesn't die. He starts digging out 3 blocks above the lava level. Etho states this is his first mob trap, and asks the users for suggestions and feedback to make it better.
The video cuts after Etho has done some mining off-screen, he shows off the cave he dug and discusses his plans for the mob trap. He says he only found 3 iron and 40 coal from his mining. He mentions his plans for another project. He then ends the episode.
