"Mobile Storage Room" is the 345th episode of Etho's Etho Plays Minecraft series.
Summary
Minecraft survival. In this Minecraft episode we try to scrounge up enough gold to setup a beacon at our new base location. Then we setup a flying machine and introduce my plan for a mobile storage room.
Plot
The episode starts out with a bunch of zombie pigman moving around, and Etho jumping up from the mass, welcoming the viewers. He states he is almost to level 100 of XP. Then, he kills the giant mass of zombie pigmen. He describes how he wants to make new beacons for his new base. The video cuts to him almost getting to level 100, but he only made it about 15% of the way to level 100. He trades with the villager to once again barely not reach, and trades again to barely not make it again. Finally, he kills a baby zombie pigman to make it to level 100.
The video cuts to zombies trying to attack the villager, but ultimately failing. One zombie eventually tries to hit Etho. The video cuts to night time and Etho describes that hitting a zombie pigman should spawn other zombies, since he is on hard mode. He demonstrates this by breaking some torches and killing the pigman, which does cause a lot to spawn. He kills off the zombies attacking the villager.
He cuts to a mineshaft and explains how he needs beacons, but doesn't have anyway. He spawns some withers underground to get more nether stars. He takes out the first wither with ease. He kills a second wither, that immediately rises up. He kills a third that does the same. He kills a fourth much quicker. He kills a fifth quickly as well. Now, with five nether stars, he makes 5 beacons. He lost the ender chest, so he only killed 5.
Next, he heads out to the amplified base. He shows off his gold mountain for the beacon, but barely didn't have enough. He describes his concept for the amplified base, how he should be able to get around easier. He heads out of the beacon room to find a mini cave. A creeper appears and blows up, and he kills a bunch of bats that were bothering him, and a zombie as well. After, he finishes his trek to the surface.
Once he gets to the surface, he sees how far he can jump up, and tests with slabs. He determines he can jump 2.5 blocks tall. He uses the jump pads to get up to the main area. Next, he says he is going to build a flying machine as suggested by his viewers, and opts to use Docm77's design.
He cuts to the flying machine being ready to go, and demonstrates it. First, he jokes and uses ender pearls to fly around. He hopes the flying machine was set up right, but the video cuts, and he states it wasn't but it now is. He goes for a ride on the flying machine. As the ride goes on, Etho talks about the Minecraft sub-reddit. He talks about how Jeb is working on a new ocean update (likely referring to 1.13, although 1.8 as mentioned did have some changes). He gets out of the boat and spawns on a layer below the cave, to Etho's confusion. He attempts to use an ender pearl to get back to the cave, twice, but fails both times. He goes back to discussing the discussion of the ocean update. He brings up boats issues, stating he wishes boats worked "like they used to" and questions why boats break. He throws a pearl to get on, hoping he doesn't die. Thankfully, he doesn't.
The video cuts back to the main base's redstone idea. He introduces the Mobile Storage Room, a system built with Minecarts to store items and be able to access them with a button. He describes his issue with the Man Cave, having to run so much to get to items. He describes the difficulties it will take to make the storage room a reality. He describes how he had the idea today, and still needs to work out some issues. He begins by showing a simple experiment with the spacing of the minecarts, of which they immediately smash into each other and caused a mess.
The video cuts to a new experiment, now with a sloped track, and got rid of the curve. The carts still merged together and caused similar issues to before. The video cuts to a new experiment, now with a quick pulse to only get one cart at a time. He showcases his ideas a bit more, and asks for comments.
The video cuts to Etho in his base, where he shows where a creeper blew a part of his base up. Etho goes on to the comment of the day, then finishes off the episode.

Etho replies that he wants to get a new world download out, but he has to be really careful because he crashed a website due to all the traffic. He describes the size increase causing more issues with the world download. He says he won't announce world downloads anymore. He also says he'll have to MCEdit the world to cut the world size down a bit as well. He has no set date, but there will be one eventually.
