ARK Survival Mixmash
"ARK Survival Mixmash" is the 1st and only episode of Etho's Etho Plays PixARK mini-series. Despite him playing on a multiplayer server, it's a solo commentary video.

Summary
PixARK gameplay. PixARK seems to be an odd mixmash of some of my favorite games such as: ARK Survival, Minecraft, and CubeWorld. Join me and the Alpha Tribe as we explore this new game and have some fun with it.
Synopsis
The episode starts off with Etho in the character creation screen, introducing the series as a mini-series. He decides which costume to wear, and decides on leaves pants and an eyepatch. He starts off at "Rally Point 1." He says he only learned about the game a few days ago, and was invited by KingDaddyDmac, the owner of the server he's playing on, with a group of friends playing.
He starts off falling with a parachute while introducing the game, saying it has a lot of similarities to ARK Survival, Minecraft, and a bit of CubeWorld, although he doesn't know much about the game. He shows off some leveling perks and the quest menu. He tries to punch out a tree, and it breaks. He notices someone flying around, and walks around the map, pointing out the border. He notices Skyzm, who is sleeping, and he punches him a bit. He crafts some items, a pickaxe and axe, and mines some blocks, while leveling up a bit and discovering new items.
He then makes a thatch foundation and places it, noticing he can rotate it, and guesses the right tool to break. He notices it has a lot of "health" and then realizes there's a key-bind to break it. He goes back over to Skyzm and breaks the blocks below him, but he doesn't fall.
The video cuts to Etho in a red biome, with lightning in the background, which Etho deems "not good." Eventually a mob (an Argentavis) notices him, and he succumbs to it. The video cuts again to Etho wearing cloth armor, saying he'll be smart this time. He ventures out more carefully, and goes up a cold mountain, and runs further, finding more snow, birds, and deeming it "terrible." He cuts down a few trees, and talks about his goals for the video. He notices a t-rex, and runs away from it. However, another Argentavis kills him.
After he respawns, he surveys his inventory and notices his hotbar items stay, but the rest of the inventory doesn't. He cuts down a tree, looking for a seed to replant, and breaks some bushes. Then, he upgrades his health. He scouts for a place to build his home, and decides to build into the hill. He checks to see if he can build on air, but can't. He mines into the mountain side and breaks a bit of rock. Next, he lays down a pad as his home, and crafts a chest and a spear. Next, he learns a stone pickaxe and some other items, and crafts some items as well.
The video cuts to about 4-5 days later in real life time, Etho states he was going to record the day after, but he got sick[1]. After hopping on for the day, he notices the map he played on is now gone, and a different one has taken his place. He angers a dinosaur by accident, and runs away from it. However, the dinosaur (a Sourpod) kills him.
The video cuts to later in the in-game day, and Etho shows his new spot and the area around out. He lays down a wood foundation for his house, and discusses his plans to build out in the future. He tries to build and notices he only can above foundation, and not over air. Despite the map reset, Etho says his character info did carry over. He places down a door to his base, and builds some more of the wall. He places down a torch and lights it up to see the lighting. Etho points out a mob has gotten stuck in his house, he attacks it but falls in the ravine. Climbing up the ravine, he tries to attack a mushroom, and eventually kills it, and gets the loot.
He cuts back to some more of his wall being done, but ran out of wood before finishing. He mines some flint by his house. He notices a blue shiny thing in the distance and heads over to it. He finds where he died earlier and picks up his items. He starts a quest that tells him to gather some dirt, which he does and hands in the quest item, and gets a chest of rewards. He notices a level 1 mob and tames it with some food, and he names the mob "FunnyBunny." He picks up the creature and starts heading back, building a bridge to get back in the process.
Once he's back on the base, Etho admits he doesn't know how to get the creature off his head, so he leaves it there. He shows off his now completed house, albeit it without a roof. He builds some ceiling foundation, and a ladder to place them. He begins building the roof a bit, then cuts to him placing down a bunch, then cuts to it being done, and showcases what he build. Then he shows how to make floating wood blocks.
He attacks a mob to try and get some leather, and eventually kills it, getting a lot of loot from the creature. He crafts a saddle to place on the Pachy mob it tames, which he names "Scratchy." He places the saddle on the mob and sprints around the map. Once he gets back to his house, he hops off the mob, accidentally eating some raw meat, and places some fences, eating more raw meat in the process. Etho places a chair in his house. He crafts a forge, a workbench, and a bed, and places them in the house. Eventually, he gets stuck in a loop but gets out of it.
The video cuts for the last time, Etho signs off the episode, hoping the viewers like the video, stating he will see the viewers "in the next one," although to this day there has not been a next episode.
