"Boat Dispensers" is the 4th episode of Etho's "Etho Plays Minecraft" series.
Summary
Running low on resources. We spend most our time this episode working on the road and we get a boat dispenser up and running.
Plot
The episode starts off with Etho thanking his subscribers and commenters, and appreciates the positive feedback. He goes over and talks about the clay and how people want him to mine it. He teases the viewers by pretending to mine it, but ultimately doesn't, claiming he will never mine it. He walks over to more clay, and says he will never mine it either, simply to troll the viewers.
He cuts to the Tree Farm, where he says he wants to expand the tree farm to up to 16 trees, but doesn't have the materials. He cuts down some trees nearby to get more resources and to make more room.
He cuts to killing some pigs, stating his axe broke. He goes down to his basement and shows off his limited collection of resources. He uses the wood he mined to make some ladders for the road, and says he wants to start on the dispenser. After crafting some ladders, he digs some holes under the return, but stops due to lack of torches and lighting. He says he'll mine out some more of the tunnel and cuts.
After the cut, he finds enough coal to make 64 torches. He shows off what he mined, and clogs a leak from the ocean, and digs some more dirt and sand out. He also found some iron, which he mines, then showcases off his resources after mining. He goes to smelt some iron. While it smelts, he digs the hole a bit deeper, connects the other hole, then digs it, finding more iron in the process, then digs a bit more, and describes the road a bit more.
He places some slabs, then crafts some buckets and grabs some water from the surface. However, it's dark on the surface, and he's unable to see. He ends up obtaining some water and making it back in unscathed. Once he gets back inside, he falls into his pit. He cooks some of his meat to heal. Next, he builds a spot to make an infinite water source.
Etho describes more of how the water works in the system. He falls down the hole again, then mines another block down as a safety net. He breaks the dirt to start letting the water flow. He gets annoyed by some zombies, so he tries to dig out to kill them, but a skeleton immediately shoots at him, and he decides not to continue. Next, he places a door on the road, and some pressure plates below to stop the water, and by the door.
Etho starts to hear mobs burning, concludes it's day, and goes up to the surface, but immediately gets shot by skeletons, which promptly burns. He notices some creepers and traps one of them and kills the other, and kills a spider. He also kills some pigs and cows. Afterwards, he goes back downstairs, without plugging in the hole to the staircase, then places more slabs on the road as a separator. He admits he is also redesigning the EATS Road, and claims he doesn't know what he's doing.
Etho builds an easy loader to safely load some boats into the system. He builds some materials like signs to prevent the water from going off the edge. The way it was built ensures the boat goes in properly. He places a few glass blocks above the dispenser to ensure the boat doesn't go too far up. He demonstrates how if boats go straight, they won't break. He showcases how 2 boats next to each other makes the first boat eject quicker. After, he ends the episode, stating it "ran a bit too long."
