"Tree Farms" is the 3rd episode of Etho's "Etho Plays Minecraft" series.
Summary
Frigg'n Creepers! Today we start work on a very small tree farm. You also see me die many times.
Plot
The episode starts off with Etho teasing the creeper from the end of the last episode. After, he says he's going to finish the tree farm. Once he gets to the area, he gets blown up by a creeper and dies. Once he respawns, he collects his items and starts working on the farm.
He builds out a platform with some slabs, then realizes he built it wrong and breaks some of the platform to make a ring. He places some cobblestone on the inner ring, with a dirt block in the middle, with torches on the 4 corners. After he builds it, he goes to get some more resources. He then places a glass block 7 blocks high to prevent big trees. He states he will work and build some more platforms, and cuts the video.
After the cut, he explains how he tried to stay out all night working on the tree farm, then panicked after he got bombarded with mobs, hiding in his mob trap for safety. He finds out a way to hit the mobs through the doors. Once the mobs are gone, he showcases what he worked on, then goes downstairs to work on the EATS Road.
Once down at the EATS Road, he builds some stairs to get in and out of the base easier. He moves on to working on the wall to the road. Once the day rises, he goes to work on the tree farm. He hits a sheep to get wool and kills a pig to get food, of which he gets none. Then, he kills a creeper and tries to catch another, but it ends up killing him, claiming it to be an issue with the mob trap's doors.
After, he goes back to the Tree Farm and showcases the work. He has enough room for 9 trees. Next, he explains how trees work, and states that you need to be within 64 blocks of the tree, and that you can grow trees underground with enough light and space. He then kills a pig, saying "I'm hungry." Then does some tests to see how trees grow by placing blocks. He finishes the scene by suggesting the users grow a tree farm, with walls and an entrance.
Next, a creeper walks up to the tree farm. Etho tries to guide the creeper to the trap, but he gets swarmed by spiders, eventually succumbing to them. He cuts to a creeper in his pit, and ends the episode.
